1st Meet
2013
At around 15 years old, we met in the art block of Longslade community college, Birstall Leicester.
1st Date
7th September 2014
James visited Leicester on the promise of a party, any excuse for Emma to invite him to Leicester.
1st Holiday
2015
The following summer before starting university together they visited Paris.
1st Flat
2016
Second year university Emma and James lived together for the first time, and agree it was an awful year of living out of a shoe box.
1st House
2020
Nonetheless, after living apart and then together again, they finally bought a house together.
1st Dog - Waffles
June 2021
Not too long after buying our first home (approximately 9 months…) Waffles came along.
Proposal
January 2024
Storms foiled James’ attempts to make it to Stanage Edge for the proposal. An alternative day of Christmas shopping, lunch and cocktails led to James proposing at the top of Park Hill overlooking Sheffield skyline.
